Development · API and integrations

API and integration work that stops the retyping.

We design APIs and connect the tools you already pay for, so data moves on its own and failures are caught, not discovered weeks later.

In short

What are API integrations?

API and integration work connects separate software systems so they share data automatically. technocity designs REST and GraphQL APIs, builds webhooks and scheduled sync jobs between CRMs, ERPs, payment gateways, marketplaces and internal apps, and adds authentication, rate limiting, retries, logging and alerts so integrations keep running when a third-party service misbehaves.

Sound familiar?

The problems we solve

Staff copy data between systems by hand every day

A sync broke weeks ago and nobody noticed

Partners ask for an API you do not have yet

Zapier chains grew into something nobody understands

What’s included

How we can help

Public or partner API

A documented REST or GraphQL API with keys, rate limits and versioning.

from 4 weeks

System integration

Two-way sync between tools such as CRM, ERP, e-commerce and accounting.

from 3 weeks

Payment integration

Gateways like Stripe, Adyen, PayPal or Razorpay with webhooks and reconciliation.

from 2 weeks

Integration rescue

Replace fragile no-code chains with tested, monitored integration code.

from 2 weeks

Timelines are typical starting points. Every project is scoped with you first.

What you get

  • Integration map of systems, fields and owners
  • API with OpenAPI documentation and sandbox
  • Webhook handlers and scheduled sync jobs
  • Retry queue and dead-letter handling for failures
  • Logs, dashboards and alerts for every integration
  • Runbook explaining how to replay or fix a failed sync

How it works

From first call to results

1

Map the data

We list which system owns each record and how changes should flow.

2

Design contracts

Endpoints, payloads and error codes are agreed in writing before code.

3

Build with failure in mind

Retries, idempotency and queues handle outages without duplicate records.

4

Monitor in production

Alerts tell your team about failures before customers notice.

Questions

Common questions

What is the difference between an API and a webhook?

An API lets one system ask another for data or send it a command when needed. A webhook works the other way round: a system sends a message automatically when something happens, such as a payment succeeding. Most integrations use both together.

How do you connect a CRM to an ERP?

A CRM connects to an ERP through their APIs, usually with a sync service in between. Won deals become sales orders, customer records stay matched and invoices or payment status flow back to the CRM. Deciding which system owns each field avoids overwrites.

Should we use Zapier or custom integration code?

Zapier and similar tools suit simple, low-volume automations that a non-developer needs to change. Custom integration code is better for high volumes, complex logic, strict error handling or sensitive data. Many businesses use both, keeping critical flows in code.

How do you stop integrations from creating duplicate records?

Integrations avoid duplicates by using unique external IDs, idempotency keys on requests and matching rules before creating records. When a call is retried after a timeout, the receiving system recognises it and updates the existing record instead of creating another.

Can you build an API for our partners or customers?

Yes, technocity builds partner and public APIs with authentication keys, rate limits, versioning and OpenAPI documentation. We also provide a sandbox environment so partners can test safely, and usage logs so you can see who calls what.
