AI Solutions ยท AI strategy and consulting
AI strategy and consulting with a practical plan.
We help you decide which AI projects are worth doing, in what order and with what safeguards. Our advice comes from building and running AI features in our own products.
In short
What is AI consulting?
AI consulting is expert advice on where and how a business should use artificial intelligence. technocity reviews your processes, data and risks, identifies a short list of useful AI projects, estimates running costs and builds a prioritised roadmap with data privacy, review steps and success measures agreed before any build starts.
Sound familiar?
The problems we solve
Pressure to use AI but no clear place to start
Staff already paste company data into public AI tools
Vendors promise more than their products can do
No way to judge if an AI pilot actually worked
What’s included
How we can help
AI opportunity workshop
A focused session with your leads to list and rank possible AI uses.
AI readiness review
A review of your data, systems, skills and risks before committing to AI projects.
AI roadmap
A prioritised plan of AI projects with scope, rough effort, running costs and success measures.
AI usage policy
Clear rules for staff on which AI tools to use, what data to keep out and when to check output.
Timelines are typical starting points. Every project is scoped with you first.
What you get
- A ranked list of AI use cases with reasons
- A data and systems readiness summary

How it works
From first call to results
Interview the teams
We talk to the people doing the work to find slow, repetitive and error-prone tasks.
Check data and risk
We look at what data exists, where it lives and what rules apply to it.
Score and shortlist
We rank ideas by value, effort, risk and running cost, and drop the weak ones.
Plan a first pilot
We define a small pilot with clear measures so you can decide on evidence.
Questions
Common questions
How should a small business start using AI?
A small business should start with one repetitive task where errors are cheap, such as drafting replies or summarising enquiries. Use a business-grade tool, keep sensitive data out until terms are checked and measure time saved. Expand only once the first use proves useful.
What does an AI consultant do?
An AI consultant helps a business decide where AI is useful, what it will cost and how to use it safely. Good consulting ends with a practical plan, including priorities, data rules and success measures, not just a list of tools.
Is it safe to use ChatGPT with company data?
Using ChatGPT with company data is safer on business plans or the API, which do not train on your data by default, than on free consumer accounts. You still need a staff policy on what data is allowed and how output is checked.
How much does it cost to run AI in a business?
AI running costs depend on the model, the number of requests and the length of each request and reply. Simple tasks on smaller models can be inexpensive, while heavy use of large models adds up. We estimate costs per use case before any build.
Do you recommend AI for every process?
No, AI is not the right answer for every process. Tasks with clear rules are often better handled by standard software or automation, which is cheaper and more predictable. We recommend AI only where it reads, judges or writes better than the alternatives.
