Development · UI and UX design

UI and UX design that makes software easy to use.

Clear screens, fewer support tickets. We design products by testing with real users, then hand developers a system they can build without guessing.

In short

What is UI and UX design?

UI and UX design is the work of making digital products clear and pleasant to use: UX covers flows and structure, UI covers the visual layer. technocity runs user interviews, maps journeys, builds wireframes and clickable Figma prototypes, tests them with users, and delivers a documented design system with components that match the code.

What’s included

How we can help

UX audit

A review of your product against usability principles and real user sessions, with prioritised fixes.

from 1 week

Product design

Research, flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens for a new product or major feature.

from 4 weeks

Design system

A component library in Figma with tokens, states and usage rules, matched to your code.

from 4 weeks

Prototype and test

A clickable prototype tested with five to eight target users before development.

from 2 weeks

Timelines are typical starting points. Every project is scoped with you first.

How it works

From first call to results

1

Listen to users

Short interviews and session recordings show where people really struggle.

2

Sketch the flows

We agree the structure in low-fidelity wireframes before any visual polish.

3

Prototype and test

Real users try a clickable prototype and we fix what trips them up.

4

Systemise for build

Final screens ship with a component library and specs developers can follow.

Questions

Common questions

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX design is about how a product works: the flows, structure and decisions a user makes to finish a task. UI design is about how it looks: layout, typography, colour and interactive elements. Good products need both, and we design them together.

How many users do you need for usability testing?

Five to eight users from your target audience usually reveal most of the serious usability problems in a flow. Testing small groups more often is more useful than one large study, because fixes can be checked in the next round.

What is a design system and do we need one?

A design system is a shared library of components, colours, spacing and rules that keeps a product consistent. You need one when several designers or developers work on the same product, or when screens have started to drift apart and every new feature reinvents basic elements.

Do you design for mobile and desktop?

Yes, technocity designs for mobile, tablet and desktop, usually starting from the smallest screen so the essentials come first. For native mobile apps we follow iOS and Android conventions where they help users feel at home on their device.

Can you redesign an existing product without starting over?

Yes, an existing product can be redesigned in stages. We start with a UX audit to find the biggest problems, fix the highest-traffic flows first and introduce a design system gradually, so users are not confronted with a completely new interface overnight.
