Digital Marketing · Conversion rate optimisation

Conversion rate optimisation based on evidence, not opinion.

Before buying more traffic, we find out why the visitors you already have are leaving, and fix the biggest reasons first.

In short

What is conversion rate optimisation?

Conversion rate optimisation is the process of increasing the share of website visitors who complete a goal, such as buying, booking or enquiring. technocity studies analytics, session recordings, heatmaps and user feedback to find friction, writes testable hypotheses, runs A/B tests or careful changes, and documents what each test teaches about your customers.

How it works

From first call to results

1

Find the leaks

We map the funnel in analytics to see exactly which step loses the most people.

2

Watch real sessions

Recordings and heatmaps show what confuses visitors at those steps.

3

Test one idea at a time

Each change is run as a controlled test with a sample size set in advance.

4

Keep what wins

Winning variants are built permanently and every result goes into a shared learning log.

Questions

Common questions

What is a good conversion rate for a website?

There is no single good conversion rate, because it varies widely by industry, price, traffic source and what counts as a conversion. Comparing against your own past results is more useful than any benchmark. technocity measures your baseline per traffic source and works to improve it.

How much traffic do you need for A/B testing?

A/B testing needs enough conversions per variant to reach a reliable result, which often means a few hundred conversions per variant during the test. Low-traffic sites can still improve through usability research and larger, bolder changes. technocity calculates sample sizes before any test starts.

Is CRO only about changing button colours?

No. Conversion rate optimisation is mainly about understanding why people do not act, then fixing the offer, message, page structure, speed or checkout. Button colours rarely matter much. technocity focuses on the issues research shows are costing the most conversions.

Can conversion rate optimisation reduce my advertising costs?

Conversion rate optimisation can lower your cost per sale or lead, because more of the same paid visitors take action. It does not change the price of each click. technocity often pairs CRO with paid media work so landing pages match the ads that send traffic to them.

Which tools does technocity use for CRO?

technocity typically uses GA4 for funnels, Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar for recordings and heatmaps, and VWO or Optimizely for A/B tests, alongside Figma for design. Tools are chosen to suit your platform, traffic and privacy requirements.
