Case study · Education

One learning platform for a multi-branch academy

A self-hosted learning platform that brought courses, live classes, payments and attendance together, replacing a third-party LMS and a separate online shop.

The challenge

Where they started

The academy teaches languages and exam preparation across many branches. Learning lived on a third-party LMS, course sales on a separate WooCommerce store, and live classes on a per-host meeting licence. Data was spread out, costs grew with every new batch, and the team had little control over the learner experience.

Our approach

How we got there

1

Map the journey

We traced every step from purchase to certificate, across branches, batches and tutors.

2

Build the platform

A multi-tenant LMS with courses, batches, assessments and a built-in storefront.

3

Move everything across

A migration importer brought over the full export of students, courses and enrolments.

4

Bring classes in-house

Live classes moved to Teknolyv, self-hosted for many concurrent rooms.

What we built

The platform

  • Multi-tenant LMS with white-label branding
  • Storefront with coupons and online payments
  • Batches, attendance and progress across branches
  • Teknolyv live classes with recordings
  • Migration importer for students, courses and enrolments
  • Single sign-on into AI exam simulators

The outcome

What changed

Courses, sales and live classes on one platform the academy controls

No dependence on a third-party LMS or a separate online shop

Live classes run on self-hosted infrastructure instead of per-host licences
